Lemon has gone through a ton of designs. Lemon is Chinese and originally was more into tranquility and peace. Her original concept influences were Chun-Li and Anna May Wong, and Lemon was originally straight. But it didn't work, it felt lame to have her just like Gigi. So her hair color was changed from black to blonde and she was given more swag. Lemon more or less started to appropriate black culture to give her more of a character. Instead of fighting Gigi for the affection of a man, Lemon became interested in women. Lemon is bisexual, and is actually sexually confused. At times she can be seen wanting men, and most of the time she wants women. She lusts for Gigi most of all, but Gigi isn't into women. Gigi has an understanding for Lemon, as her mother hates Lemon for various reasons. Pepper hates Lemon because she is bisexual and also just because she just doesn't like her. But Lemon has that special ability as a mascot to have a more caring side at times, but she is very shady.
